3DS Hacking

This seminar will take a deep dive look at the hardware and software security of the Nintendo 3DS. This will be an enlightening case study and discussion of the way that Nintendo's security measures were circumvented and eliminated by the Open Source Hacking community. We will trace the developments in the community over time, and use the back-and-forth interactions between the hackers and Nintendo to learn about incident response and security-oriented programming practices.
